On June 5, a solemn event dedicated to the 50th anniversary of World Environment Day took place.

On June 5, 2023, a ceremonial event was held, in which representatives of the UN Global Compact, Sberbank OJSC and BSB Bank CJSC took part.

The event was dedicated to the 50th anniversary of World Environment Day, proclaimed at the 27th session of the UN General Assembly on December 15, 1972.

At the new exposition "Japanese Garden" of the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, a ceremonial event was held to plant ornamental pines - Mountain pine 'Uncinata' and Black pine 'Green tower' with the presentation of certificates of sponsorship to the Central Botanical Garden. Upon completion of the planting, plaques dedicated to this event were installed.
