21.06.2024 - 24.06.2024 May 21, 2024-May 24, 2024 ❈ Meet the blooming of the lilac and rhododendron collections in the Central Botanical Garden of the NAS of Belarus! ❈ From May 21 to 24, we invite everyone to tours of the lilac and rhododendron collections with research staff. ❈ On May 21, 22, 23, there will be tours of the rhododendron collection at 10-00 and at 12-00. ❈ Rhododendrons are quite widespread throughout the globe. The formation of the rhododendron collection in the Central Botanical Garden began in the mid-60s of the last century. Currently, the collection contains about 80 species and more than 140 varieties of rhododendrons and all known garden groups are represented. In recent years, the collection has been actively replenished with new varieties, including our own selection. A group for a tour of the rhododendron collection is formed at the central entrance. No prior registration is required. The duration of the tour is 45 minutes. ❈ 22, 23, 24 May will be excursions to the lilac collection at 10-00 and at 12-00. ❈ The Syringarium is one of the most visited expositions in the spring. The creation of the lilac collection was laid in 1933. The formation of the syringarium began in the 60s. The collection contains varieties of domestic and international selection. In 2011, the lilac collection of the Central Botanical Garden received international recognition. Currently, it has more than 200 varieties. Of particular value in the collection are varieties of our own selection. A group for a tour of the lilac collection is formed at the exhibition greenhouse. No prior registration is required.
