19.04.2022 - 09.05.2022 The Magic Lantern Festival is extended in the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus from April 19. The exposition has been supplemented with new art objects and will delight Minsk residents and guests of the capital until May 9 inclusive. You will see outlandish light sculptures, a beautiful alley of glowing flowers, stunning animals and fairy-tale motifs. As soon as the sun sets behind the horizon and darkness sets in, each figure of the festival, as if having absorbed all the sunlight, lights up and attracts attention. Hundreds of meters of satin fabric, thousands of LED bulbs and kilometers of LED strip were used to create the decorations. Fine handwork, thoughtfulness of each element and stroke turn the figures into a frantic embodiment of a miracle. To achieve the effect of full immersion, each sculpture is accompanied by a unique musical accompaniment and a light show. A special feature of the exhibition is the audio guide, accessible by scanning the QR code on any smartphone with the Internet, thanks to which you can learn all the secrets and mysteries of each of the compositions. On weekends, festival guests can expect a truly real taming of fire. A breathtaking fire show with fiery flashes and a magical dance of flames. The performance takes place from Friday to Sunday at 21:00 and 22:00. Entrance to the festival: Kalinin Square (main entrance to the Central Botanical Garden). Working hours: Tuesday-Sunday from 20.00 to 23.00. Admission until 22:00. Monday is a day off. The festival will continue from April 19 to May 9, 2022. Ticket prices: The cost of a full ticket on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and May 9 is 18 rubles (for all categories of citizens), a discounted ticket is 13 rubles (for large families, children from 5 to 16, schoolchildren, students, full-time students, pensioners). On weekdays - the cost of a full ticket is 16 rubles, a discounted ticket is 11 rubles. For children up to and including 4 years old, disabled people of groups 1 and 2 - admission is FREE.
