"Fireworks of colors and aromas" July 3-12, 2020 for the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus and July 3-4, 2020 family walk - educational quest "Blooming Garden"

On the eve of the holiday, the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus has prepared for its visitors an impressive and valuable gift for the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus - the flowering of the rose collection in the botanical garden - this is one of the most significant and favorite events for Minsk residents and guests of the capital. The beauty and aromas of these extraordinary plants give rise to romance and positive emotions in the soul, love and joy for life. The collection of roses of the botanical garden is a national treasure of the Republic of Belarus! In total, the collection has more than three hundred varieties, and this year it has been replenished with new varieties, including everyone's favorite hybrid tea roses, with an unusual palette of colors - orange, dark purple. There is even a so-called black rose, although in fact its color is dark burgundy. "Fascinating Marathon" will begin early in the morning June 3, 2020 in an online format. Every hour on our Instagram page new broadcasts will appear with useful knowledge about roses, classes for children and adults in yoga, neurogymnastics, zumba, as well as sound relaxation and much more. July 3, 2020 visitors to the botanical garden will find:

• a blooming collection of roses;
• a family walk;
• an entertaining and educational quest;
• an exciting marathon;
• an online environmental talk show - hosts Evgeny Bulka and Sergey Minsky, guest of the online broadcast is the famous TV presenter Tengiz Dumbadze;
• a drawing of valuable gifts among the quest participants.

July 4 In 2020, a family interactive walk "Blooming Garden" will be held, various routes, summing up the results and a drawing of gifts will be held online on the birch alley of the botanical garden at 17:00. Visitors are also invited to take part in a photo marathon (taking into account the careful attitude to the rose collection). To participate, you need to take a photo of roses in the botanical garden and post it on Instagram, indicating #cbg_minsk. The prize is a bouquet of roses. The winner of the bouquet will be determined live on the environmental talk show, which will be broadcast on the botanical garden's Instagram @botanicalgardenminsk. For the safety and health of visitors, as well as taking into account the recommendations of the Ministry of Health, during the events, tasks are performed remotely, using smartphones. For a more comfortable completion of tasks, the routes do not intersect.
