27.08.2024 - 02.09.2024 August 27, 2024-August 28, 2024 On August 27 and 28, 2024 at 16:00 and 18:00 the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus will host excursions to the dahlia collection "Mexican Color"! The autumn beauty has bloomed early this season! Currently, the botanical garden's dahlia collection has more than 200 varieties. This is an impressive variety of colors - monochromatic, with numerous tonal or contrasting transitions of orange, pink, white and red colors. The entire variety of dahlias in the botanical garden belongs to 12 garden groups - decorative, semi-cactus, cactus, as well as rare nymphaeaceae, anemone, collar dahlias. Among them are varieties bred by the Central Botanical Garden: Stefania, Ogni Minska, Nabat Khatyni, Marylya Verashchak. The tour will be conducted by the curator of the collection, research fellow of the laboratory of introduction and selection of ornamental plants Dubrova Olga Nikolaevna. During the tour, visitors will be able to get acquainted with the variety of varieties, their differences, features of agricultural technology, reproduction, storage.
