28.03.2023 - 02.03.2023 The Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus invites all schoolchildren to spend their spring holidays with us. From March 28 to April 2, 2023 we offer organized groups a tour of the exhibition greenhouse "Music of Nature". The world of tropical plants is amazing and diverse. Many trees are grown not only for their decorative qualities, but also for the value of their wood, from which various original and unique musical instruments are subsequently produced. On an excursion among tropical plants, children will learn: what musical instruments are made from cacti, bamboo, plumeria; what elements for instruments are made from laurel, araucaria and ficus; what are "chakchas" and "dikanza" - musical instruments made from macadamia and palm; about musical instruments that are used in the traditions of different peoples. Our inhabitants will complement the excursions - red-eared turtles, parrots and colorful koi fish. We are waiting for the children for a walk in the tropics!
