New Year's performances in the botanical garden

During the winter school holidays, as part of the New Year 2019 celebration, the State Scientific Institution "Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus" is holding a festive interactive show for children of primary and secondary school age "New Year's Performances in the Botanical Garden". Visitors to the tropical greenhouse of the botanical garden will be able to take a step into the mysterious world of the "New Year's miracle" and get into an amazing atmosphere of friendship and kindness. Guests will plunge into the fascinating history of fairy-tale characters, get acquainted with beautiful plants and cheerful inhabitants of the greenhouse, and see a real yeti! All children will be involved in the action, become full participants in the program, and, according to tradition, celebrate the New Year 2019 with Grandfather Frost and the Snow Maiden! The New Year's show will begin with an introduction to the kind Yeti and his friends, together they will go on an interesting and educational journey into the world of the tropics, learn about the celebration of Christmas and the New Year among different peoples of the world. Together they will write a letter to Father Frost and play a fun lottery! And of course, every child will get a surprise! And a theatrical performance with a fascinating plot, memorable music and dances, games and competitions, with funny characters and adventures will become one of the best New Year's events in the capital! The final accent of the show will be a meeting of the main character of the holiday - Father Frost with the children, in his residence, where everyone will have the opportunity to talk to him, make a wish, take a selfie, receive a festive medal and congratulations on the New Year. The beautiful Snow Maiden will involve all the children in a New Year's disco and a fun flash mob with the characters of the show. The performance will end with a New Year's master class on making New Year's decorations for a home Christmas tree.

11.00 – Start of the program, introduction to the New Year's greenhouse, educational quest. 12.20 – Theatrical performance. 13.05 – Round dances in the greenhouse with Father Frost and a disco with the Snow Maiden. 13.30 – Fascinating New Year's trips to different countries and continents (excursions). 13.45 – Magic photo zone and "visiting" Father Frost and the Snow Maiden. 13.50 – New Year's workshop. R.S. New Year's performances in the Botanical Garden will be held from December 25, 2018 to January 6, 2019 - daily, except December 31, 2018 and January 1, 2019.

The cost of visiting the Botanical Garden and the Exposition Greenhouse for New Year's performances in the Botanical Garden:

Full- 7.00 rubles. Concessionary- 4.00 rubles. (for schoolchildren, college students, full-time students (only with a student ID, except for postgraduate and master's students), pensioners by age (only with an ID), large families, employees of organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (with an organization pass). Children - 2.00 rubles (for preschool children from 2 years old). Free admission is allowed for WWII veterans, conscripts, disabled people of all groups accompanying excursion groups, orphans.
