Everyone says: "New Year is just around the corner!", and Masha waits the whole week, not taking her eyes off her nose, distracted only to stick out her tongue and eat snowflakes. Masha almost got sick from such anticipation, and also lost her Teddy Bear, didn't decorate the Christmas tree, didn't prepare gifts, and didn't learn a song or dance for Santa Claus. The Saber-toothed Tiger comes to the rescue, who decides to help the girl celebrate the New Year correctly! Exhibition "BIRDCATHER: catcher of volumes and meanings" by the sculptor of the botanical garden - Vadim Matskevich From December 24 to February 14; from 11-00 to 16-00; The Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus presents an exhibition of sculpture for the first time. The famous Belarusian sculptor Vadim Matskevich, the author of monuments and memorials installed in many cities of our country, has been creating in a studio on the territory of the botanical garden for more than twenty years, and this exhibition is a kind of report on the creative path of the sculptor. For Vadim, sculpture and nature are inseparable: their mutual influence is the basis of his work. Each work is conceived and created by the sculptor in harmony with the natural landscape for which it is intended.
