On May 1, 2021 in the center of Minsk, on the territory of the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, a large-scale festival will be held dedicated to the opening of the summer season of the garden, the flowering of the botanical garden's collection plants from the stock greenhouse, as well as the culture, music and traditions of the Celts! As part of the opening of the summer season, the employees of the botanical garden offer their visitors a flower exhibition-exposition"The Charming World of Pelargoniums and Fuchsias", formed on the basis of plant collections from the stock greenhouse, as well as consultations and advice on agricultural technology for growing plants.The Beltane Spring Festival is a holiday marking the beginning of summer, traditionally celebrated on May 1 since the Middle Ages! On this day, not only the change of seasons was celebrated - the end of spring and the beginning of summer - but also the change from the dark half of the year, which began in October, to its light half. Festival guests will enjoy an open-air concert, interactive areas, numerous photo zones, a fire theater competition, Irish dancing, a petting zoo, Scottish bagpipers, a large artisan market and a food court! The festival will end with a large-scale fire show!
