Features of planting plants with a closed root system! Interactive lecture-workshop

On August 8 and 9 at 15.00 and 17.00 we invite you to the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for interactive lectures and workshops "Features of planting plants with a closed root system."

As part of the interactive, you will learn everything about the types of closed root systems of plants, as well as their pros and cons.

Using the example of lilac, catalpa and paulownia seedlings a research fellow will talk about the features of planting seedlings with a closed root system.

The interactive lecture-workshop will cover the following issues:

  • systematic affiliation of planting material;
  • optimal planting dates;
  • preparing seedlings;
  • preparing a site for planting;
  • using drainage materials and various substrates;
  • using growth stimulants;
  • caring for planted plants (watering, fertilizing, loosening, mulching).

Duration of the lecture-workshop ~ 45 min.

Groups are formed on August 8 and 9 at 15:00 and 17:00 near the service entrance to the botanical garden (2V Surganova St.).

No prior registration required.

To participate in the lecture-workshop, only an entrance ticket to the botanical garden is purchased.
