25.08.2018 - 25.08.2018 The administration of the State Scientific Institution "Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus" invites all adults, schoolchildren and those who are going to the first grade to visit an educational interactive event on the territory of the botanical garden, dedicated to the Day of Knowledge in Belarus. September 1 is a national holiday in Belarus - the Day of Knowledge. However, not only in Belarus, but also all over the world. With the first day of autumn, nature pleases not only with golden leaves, but also with the first bell, because it is from this day that the fascinating, albeit long, and sometimes difficult, road to the land of knowledge begins. September 1, 2018 will be the start of the new school year. The school bell will ring again, and the children will sit down at their desks. A wonderful, amazing path lies ahead for all students, and therefore it is necessary to be patient for both children and adults. Our "First-Class Holiday" will be a wonderful start to the new school year and will be remembered for a long time by its participants! The event will be held in the Botanical Garden on August 25, 2018 from 11:00 to 20:00. The main goal of the holiday is to recognize the importance and value of education and enlightenment, honor science and technology, the desire to accumulate and increase knowledge, develop and not stand still. An equally important goal of the holiday is to create a positive attitude towards learning, to give children the opportunity to feel the joy of demonstrating their knowledge and skills. To cultivate goodwill and initiative in children, to create an atmosphere of a family holiday and cultural useful leisure for parents and children. The educational direction in organizing the holiday is the activity of the Botanical Garden in positioning decorative plant collections. Traditionally, on September 1, all children go with huge bouquets of flowers, but not everyone has seen the diversity of their varieties and species, the beauty of flowering in nature. Children and their parents will be able to get acquainted with expositions of blooming autumn flowers from different regions of the world in the Botanical Garden. The program of the event: games and fun in the fresh air from the Children's Intellectual Club "BabyUm"; an unforgettable science show; a kite flying school; a soap bubble show; product tasting; a raffle of valuable prizes and gifts; animated game libraries; master classes; bright balloons and figures made of them; a funny clown from SHIK-SHAR; a performance on stage by children's groups; a dance flash mob; an exhibition and sale of the most relevant, useful and necessary goods for mothers and babies, as well as school supplies. And, there is much more interesting. The event will support a social project: at our "First-Class Holiday" we will support the social project "New Life in Exchange for Bottle Caps" @kryshariki. Anyone can join the good cause. It's simple: you need to collect bottle caps and bring them to the Botanical Garden on August 25 for the holiday in the "Bottle Cap Collection" zone and get a lucky ticket for every 10 bottle caps! The more caps, the more chances to win prizes!!! By the end of the holiday at 18.00 on stage there will be a drawing and presentation of gifts to the winners! And when the event is over, all the plastic collected at the holiday will be taken to be recycled by @kryshariki representatives.
