"Heart of Flowers"

The Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus invites you to the "Heart of Flowers" festival on May 26 and 27.

The flowering of the lilac collection in the botanical garden has been replaced by the time of mass flowering of the no less famous, stunning collection of rhododendrons! The history of rhododendrons spans more than three centuries. During this period, they have become one of the most popular crops of open and closed ground. The abundance of colors, variety of varieties and species of these exotic plants amazes the imagination, provides great opportunities for selfie lovers! Our festival solemnly announces the days of rhododendrons! Everyone will be able to not only enjoy the mass flowering of these wonderful plants, but also learn from the curator of the collection the places of their natural growth, the features of growing and caring for flowering shrubs. In the botanical garden store, you can buy plant seedlings. Visitors to the botanical garden will be able to enjoy nature in the middle of the urban jungle, learn a lot of interesting things and have a wonderful rest with the whole family: visit the rhododendron collection, get advice from the garden's scientific staff, have a delicious meal in the organized food zones with a variety of food, have fun at a concert and buy unique products created by artisans. Children with disabilities will take part in the festival. The goal of our event is to draw attention to tolerance and help to people who need it. For two days, everyone will be able to immerse themselves in the world of music, creativity and interesting people. The festival will include master classes, activity zones for children and performances by specially invited speakers. The show program for the event on May 26, 2018: (Starts at 11:00 near the exhibition greenhouse of tropical plants)

• Performance of young artists of the vocal studio "Avanti";
• Performances of pop artists;
• A soap bubble show;
• Show ballets and dance groups;
• Performances of instrumental musicians;
• Fashion shows all weekend from the National School of Beauty.

At the main entrance you will be greeted by artisans with a variety of hand-made goods:

• brooches, earrings, necklaces, bracelets made of various materials;
• toys and dolls;
• hand-made soap and candles and much more.

Children's art zones and attractions will be organized for children. In the food court areas, which will be organized near the greenhouse and at the lake complex, you will find a lot of tasty and healthy food!
