The flowering of the rose collection in the botanical garden is one of the most significant and favorite events for Minsk residents and guests of the capital. The rose collection of the botanical garden is a national treasure of the Republic of Belarus! This season, the peak of rose blooming activity falls on the second half of June, and the employees of the botanical garden present roses - as a gift to all Minsk residents and guests of the capital for the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus. The botanical garden invites its visitors to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of luxury and beauty of magnificent rose garden plants, admire climbing roses, polyanthus, floribunda and grandiflora, standard, hybrid tea roses - more than three hundred varieties in total. The elegance, variety of colors and shapes are truly inexhaustible and conquer the hearts of flower growers and rose lovers. Only on the first day of the holiday June 23, 2018, as part of the event, participants of the rose festival will meet with the curator of the collection. All those interested will be able to receive detailed consultations directly on the territory of the rose garden from 13.30 to 14.30. Professional guides will conduct excursions around the rose garden and other natural sites. Excursion groups are formed on the territory of the rose garden at 14.30 and 15.30. On the same day - June 23, the performance of the Belteleradiocompany Symphony Orchestra will help you hear the "symphony of roses". The second day, June 24th is the final chord of the rose festival – for beautiful brides and all lovers of the harmony of nature and the skill of floristry! June 24th, a grand fashion show will be held at the open area of the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus as part of the new project of the champion of Belarus in professional floristry Laura Belobrovik “The Birth of an Image”! The program includes a large show of the master and students in unique wedding dresses from the Kuraje wedding house and designer outfits from Tatyana Efremova (TEfremova brand). The presenters of Belteleradiocompany will take part in the fashion show! During the show, as last year, there will be an audience vote for the favorite image, an award ceremony for the winner of the project and a ceremonial presentation of diplomas!
