Flower of the Sun! Indian Chrysanthemum Exhibition

From November 17 to 26, 2023, the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus invites you to the exhibition of Indian chrysanthemum "Flower of the Sun"!

Indian chrysanthemum embodies style and beauty, sophistication and originality, refinement and extravagance. More than 80 varieties will be presented at the exhibition.

Indian chrysanthemum flowers have many different shapes, from simple daisies (Aglow, Biarrita, Solo) to multi-petal pom-poms (Gazelle, Tom Pearse), large and small, various colors and shades: from yellow and white, pink, red and orange to purple and even green!

The small-flowered varieties Nicole and Santini will touch you, the medium-flowered Saba, the large-flowered Amber Lady and Anastasia will delight you with their extraordinary luxurious glow. The rare spider-like Luyona and Spider will surprise you. At the exhibition you will be able to see varieties of English selection, bred in the 50-60s of the 20th century (Escort, Southdown Pink, Sterling).

For the first time, chrysanthemums with unusual colors and impressive shapes will be presented - Jode Green, Bigoudi Red, Santosh Violet, Tourbillon.

As part of the exhibition, on November 18 and 25 at 12:00 and 14:00, there will be meetings with the curator of the chrysanthemum collection, Svetlana Vitalievna Tsekhanovich.

• all the intricacies of growing in the climate of Belarus - how to preserve in winter, spring cuttings, and further care;
