"Blooming Spring of Victory"

The Central Botanical Garden cannot remain on the sidelines in these spring and very exciting days - the days of celebrating the Great Victory of the Soviet people over the Nazi occupiers. Moreover, on April 28, 2018, the garden cordially opened the central entrance and announced the beginning of the 86th summer season in the botanical garden. On May 9, 2018, from 13.00 to 16.00, among the blooming apple trees, tulips, daffodils - visitors to the Botanical Garden will enjoy a rich festive program: a musical concert, entertainment for children and adults. Visitors will be offered fascinating excursions through the landscape, where professional guides will tell about the Botanical Garden during the war, alleys and meadows associated with the history of the war, as well as about the unique decorative collections of plants in the botanical garden. Excursion groups will be formed near the tropical plant greenhouse at 13.00 and 14.30. Bright theatrical moments of the festive program will remind us of the war years and those heroes who, at the cost of their lives, won Victory for us and today's peaceful sky. "Partisan camp", obstacle course, young fighter course, motorcycles, models of weapons from the Great Patriotic War - these topics are close and interesting to every family in Belarus and, especially, to the younger generation of youth, whose patriotic feelings are formed on the continuity of traditions of generations at such events, where people meet who are united by love for their Motherland. The vocal group "Retro Rhythms" will hold interactive performances with guests. The dance group of the Extreme Theater "Berserk" will organize a dance master class with the audience, the accordionist and brass band will perform favorite melodies before the war years. Children and adults will be able to compete in accuracy and dexterity, there will be children's rides, and you can go horseback riding and pony riding around the lake complex. A pleasant surprise awaits the participants of the event - a treat of hot soldier's porridge and tea. There are also retail outlets and cafes open.

The festive program will take place on the site near the Exposition Greenhouse of Tropical and Subtropical Plants from 13.00 to 16.00.

Competitions on military topics. 14.45-15.20 – Vocal group "Retro Rhythms" – songs of the war years. Interactive with the audience. 15.20-15.45– Vocal school "White Sail" of the Production Center of Ya. Poplavskaya and A. Tikhanovich. 15.45-16.00 – End of the holiday with the anthem and the song "Victory Day!".
