13.03.2021 - 13.03.2021 The Central Botanical Garden invites all citizens and guests of the capital to a cheerful, bright and funny farewell to winter and, of course, to treat themselves to their favorite pancakes and crepes, hot herbal tea with buns! In order for the year to be fruitful, lucky and happy for nature and people, you must definitely come to the botanical garden and be sure to celebrate Maslenitsa, with its customs and traditions! Interactive zones: "Wheel of Desires and Predictions" - a raffle of gifts; "Festive Registry Office" - a romantic chance for all couples in love. Pancake marathon, folk fortune telling, Maslenitsa photo zone, children's playground, life-size dolls, attractions for adults and children, samovar show, gypsy theater "Gypsy Band", folk vocal ensemble "Bela Ptah" - this and much more will create a mood, will allow, as always, to have a great rest and have fun. As part of the event, the guides of the botanical garden will conduct educational and interesting "Tropical Spring" excursions around the collection of plants in the greenhouse of tropical and subtropical plants. The greenhouse collection contains more than 600 species of plants from different regions of the world. You will learn which plants bloom and bear fruit in the spring. The excursions will take place at 14.00 and 15.30, groups are formed near the host of the holiday. The greenhouse is decorated with exotic birds - parrots from the exhibition display "The World of Large Parrots" - favorites of many of our visitors! The culmination of the holiday will be an unforgettable fire show and the burning of an effigy of winter, which personifies all the worst and most negative. Program 13.00 – procession of the festive cavalcade: buffoons, mummers, Maslenitsa. 13.15 – performance of the folk ensemble "Voloshki". 13.30 – theater "Zhart" – jokes, games, competitions "carousel", "pancake marathon", etc. 14.00 – vocal and instrumental duet "Olga Lyubavina and Dmitry Strezh". 14.20 – theater "Zhart" – game block. 14.50 – dance flash mob "Fat Cooks". 15.10 – theater "Zhart" – game block. 15.40 – performance of the folk ensemble "White Ptah". 16.00 – show "Bogatyr". 16.20 – gypsy theater "Gypsy Band". 16.40– theater "Zhart" – sweeping away winter with brooms, procession with Maslenitsa to the fire. 17.00 – fire show. 17.00 – lighting a bonfire and round dance. 17.15 – end of the event.
