26.05.2024 - 31.05.2024 The Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus invites schoolchildren for spring break. From March 26 to March 31, 2024, we offer organized groups a tour of the exhibition greenhouse "Spring is on the Threshold". In spring, nature awakens from sleep and everything around changes. You can observe spring changes in nature in the fresh air in the botanical garden. In our latitudes, the seasonality of the season is determined by temperature and light indicators, which cannot be said about the tropics. Each tropical and subtropical plant has its own time for flowering, for which they prepare for more than one month. On the excursion "Spring is on the doorstep" in the Exposition Greenhouse we will show and tell the children about the flowering plants of desert areas, Asia and the Mediterranean - azaleas and camellias, and of course about the various colored plants of the tropics - orchids, anthuriums, etc. The atmosphere of the tropics is complemented by the funny inhabitants of the greenhouse - parrots, colorful koi carp and red-eared turtles.
