"Around the world in 5 days with the Central Botanical Garden!"

The Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus INVITES you to the fun and educational events "Around the World in 5 Days with the Central Botanical Garden!" during the school autumn holidays from October 31 to November 4, 2017 from 11:00 to 13:30.

The Central Botanical Garden invites you to travel! After all, holidays are made for going on a trip and getting new impressions! And we offer to learn about new countries without leaving the city of Minsk, right in the center of the capital. Our journeys begin near the exposition greenhouse of tropical plants, will take place during the autumn holidays and will take all guests to other countries! So... The Central Botanical Garden invites you! October 31 – English Journey with Mary Poppins November 01 – French Breakfast November 02 – Chinese Dragon November 03 – Iceland Journey with Queen Elsa November 04 – Italian Adventures In each of these thematic programs, our visitors will learn about the flora, culture, symbols, traditions of these countries, learn new words, learn national dances and games, and participate in master classes! Schoolchildren will take part in educational quest excursions and learn about plants typical for these countries:

• English trip will reveal the uniqueness of larches and birches;
• at a French breakfast you will learn about the benefits of Provencal herbs (lavender, rosemary);
• Chinese dragon will present the beauty of the chrysanthemum collection and the value of the Manchurian nut;
• journey to Iceland will impress with famous mosses and lichens;
• Italian adventures will introduce you to the romantic magnolia and magical hawthorn.

At the end of each program, a unique disco "Dances of the World" awaits you! We invite everyone - schoolchildren and their parents to the botanical garden for the autumn holidays! Entrance to the landscape area of ​​the botanical garden is paid. Entrance fee: 6.00 Belarusian rubles for all categories of citizens.
