The head of the laboratory is the candidate of biological sciences Chyzhik Olga Uladzimirovna. The laboratory was established in 2010, it has 12 employees, including 2 candidates of biological sciences. The areas of scientific research are concentrated in the field of biochemistry and physiology of differentiation and dedifferentiation of plant cells and tissues, technologies of microclonal reproduction, creation of genetic banks based on tissue culture and meristems. Innovative developments are devoted to clonal micropropagation, production of seedlings of economically valuable plants based on in vitro culture.
